I do know of places that allow mesh gogles. Several guys on our team play with them. Though theirs are built different. I really think playing there more and talking to them will help. Theta didn't have a problem. Thanks to Drenlan we all had mesh wire masks with good full seal gogles.

Rig the problem with the mesh goggles is that if someone is using Bio BBs, the BB can splinter and send shards of plastic into the eye. Is this likely, probably not, but apparently it can happen. Its just the same with BBs getting behind shooting glasses.
I did find the best way to ware their masks though, drop them down so the "goggle" part covers my mouth. I could use my sites and my "pretty mouth" was protected.
Oh and I almost forgot, we didnt chrono. Now, with the way things went, I am glad they didnt because they would have probably turned down the DMR (even though it follows WV Rules) . However, I was strickly following MEDs, in fact one guy yelled back at me when I was using my pistol say "I wasnt even close". Then Rig's buddy got him.
Is it perfect? no. Does it need work? yes. Is it worth the effort? yes. Oh and I know that some of you are like, I dont want to play because of X,Y,Z and thats fine. But without the numbers, it is much more difficult for us to effect change.
Red said that they thought things went a lot smoother then last time. There really wasnt a safety issue. I hope to see you guys again next month.

Well, I'll say this.
If there is no comprimise between both parties there will probably be no agreement. Do what you have to do. A lot of us that supported this game actually have fields already. I'm supporting this for the ones that don't have a place to play and want one. A mask of some sort and good goggles is not a bad place to start.

Airsoft lower mesh face masks run about 15 bucks. Lots of people wear them. Do you see where I'm coming from? The fact is. Right now, they require face masks. Either you want to play there or not. It's going to be all about compromise. I personally prefer just a mouth guard. But, that's just not possible here at the moment.

Shemagh I would assume? Better looking what I used to have - a bacavala with ducktape inside of it - really and it didn't do anytihng for my nose which got shot 4 or five times until I got my mesh mask lol I can't afford to get any uglier
