Might make it look cooler. Depending on the one you get, it could make your gun heavier. If you want it more accurate, look into a better barrel and bucking.

The normal barrel extension/supressor is non-functioning. It is illegal (with out proper paperwork) to have a suppressor. The airsoft ones, unless it's a tracer unit. Do nothing.

So if you have an M4 you can run an M16 length barrel.
