Ok so I found and old tower power AC/DC 400 quick charger for sub-C NiCd 7.2v 1200-1700mah and I'm pretty sure this was used for my RC Cars. Does anyone know if this will work for airsoft batteries, I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure I used the charger for my old gun battery but have been out of it for awhile and and can't remember. It has 30min to auto trickle

Description says it won't charge 8.4v. I assume it won't charge a 9.6 either. You might want to consider lipo anyways. Just don't buy lipos from airsoft retailers. They'll take you to the wood shed on pricing....

You can get a larger mah in a smaller package. Cell sizes are different. More care has to be taken with them. And, of course you have to have a charger that can charge and balance lipos.

im using the Hyperion 606is charger.....
it will do ANY battery nimh, nicad, lipo, lion, lifeph and so on... from 2 to 24 cells and it balances and all that other fancy stuff to.
will run off any current and even your car battery and comes with all the goodies, connectors blah blah blah.
these young kids would have no trouble setting it up as its all digital and it remembers every battery you program into it, the next time you hook it up it ID's it.....
but for us older non computer savvy guys it took me a little bit to figure out all the options.
one charger to do it all is very nice.

Jonah,
we found them on the net for under 100 & Mike at Hobbytown got real close to that... he knocked like $40 off of it... ($109).. once a price gets that close to the net prices i'll buy local everytime.
actually bring this charger with me to the field cause we can hook it up on the car if need be and charge a battery that way.
will have it at your next event.
