This would be just a small field fee at named events to buy plywood or sandbags, and maybe field phones eventually, to install in the fortifications.

Dunno how often I'll get to play there.. but I certainly would not begrudge a five dollar fee.

This is only for big scenarios of course. Skirmishes would still be free of charge.

That's not a bad idea, but if you're not careful you'll just be running another pay-to-play field.

Not all pay to play fields are bad I have to say. Events like Blind Fury that cost 65 dollars seem exorbitantly expensive but if the money is going back into the field to make it a better experience to play there or cover OP props from personal experience it makes it worth it. When we started using MAM paintball the only things there cover wise were three forts. After using money from events and the Raider's portion of field fees we constructed tons of DFP's, expanded the forts, built two new ones and a village. That is just my .02 however .
