So as a member of team wiggles here in minnesota, I am contracting myself to initiate a game between the north and the south. Minnesota/Wisconsin/possibly them stupid Iowa kids vs west Virginia/Virginia /Kentucky....or whomever you want on your team......granted this is just an idea right now but I would love to make this happen and Sling done plastic. This would be sometime in the fall...preferably at a sanctioned field or someone's property that runs games on a normal basis.
Rules up for discussion
Location....if a field owner could contact me that would be great
Time/date looking towards fall around September....
Scenario preferably a two day op starting on friday night and going until Sunday morning....based on a civil waresk theme and could get interesting
Uniforms-while I would love the novel idea of the blue and the grey it is just that very novel. I would assume the uniforme could be up for discussion ie woodland vs desert patterns or something life that
Hit me up if you think this game would be with it to you

Operation Northern Fury Presented By:
The second Civil War has started and has stationed groups along the Mason Dixon line rallied to defend their home states. While some states in the west remain neutral in the fighting states like Texas and New York send troops to squash the other side. The upper Midwest has decided to join in the fight and make a name for its self once again. It rallies all the troops it can and sends them into Ohio to stage for an all-out assault into West Virginia. As the Mid-West Taskforce Settles into their camps, a small group of recon soldiers are sent into West Virginia to gain intelligence on their fighting force and to sabotage the main CP.
A combined group of southern soldiers waits patiently at the main CP ready to fight; a recent intelligence report has spotted a large force setting up camp in Ohio. The commander reports that they are stopping short of the Ohio River and waiting. Not sure of their intentions the commander sends a combined state recon force of the best men he can gather to spy on the large force and send intelligence back to him. Locked in the north and now locked in the west the commander may have no option but to retreat if they decide to attack.
What do y'all think of that

There really arent any dedicated fields for play here in WV. Its an extremely small airsoft community but it seems that it is growing, slow, but growing. Most play happens at either private property, public land deep into the hills and virtually hidden, or property that permission has been obtained to play on. Currently, one of the community members has obtained permission to use a parcel of land is about 80acres. There is planning in progress to build on this location. Trying to pin down a date to start it off and use the raw land and its features then get player input for adjustments, ideas and so on. There are several "airsoft fields" that are somewhat close to WV over in Ohio. As I said, this community is very small.

yeah, i wasn't sure field wise what was there. this was all just theory anyways, i know for most people up here they aren't going to drive 20 hrs' plus to play at an open field. i would like to get a game going, but i doubt it would be as successful as i think it would be unfortunately. maybe one that field get built up then we can get a big game going.

Damn that's alot of room, what it's your schedule looking like for September...I'm still coming down to wv it this game catches momentum or not but if you have some games going on around then I would deffinatley show up..a couple of my buddies are talking about comming down also even if this big game doesn't happen.
Also what do you have for bunkers or is it just open mountainous terrain?

Currently our Post-apocalyptic event is in September, but I think that may have changed. There one area where theres a pretty built up bunker, another is being constructed, and at the end of march we're doing a build day which should consume quite a bit of the materials that are gathered up, and complete a few more fighting positions. We also have a Vietnam event in June, and in May Operation Crucible III is going to be at sandyville this year. The last two had about 100 players, and is out signature 24 hour event. With any luck we hope to make it the next blind fury.
