In all seriousness though, lol, don't underestimate the cold people. So many new people coming this game it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Dress warm, if you're standing inside your home with all your stuff on and sweating, then dress even warmer. You may not be all that cold standing up, but if there's a blanket of snow on the ground and you get wet, it feels like hell. It's a whole lot easier than what you think it is to get frostbit doing this stuff.
Also, these extreme -20 windchills aren't helping either... ;D
Try to find a way to keep your batteries warm! The cold weather sucks the life right out of them (unless you use LiPo of course). I usually wrap mine with a hand warmer, if i'm using a PEQ box. If you don't have more than one battery, then you're in some major trouble here. Go light with your gun...Don't try to be an LMG if you have a 9.6 1600MaH battery ;D
It's going to be cold outside, and you won't be all that thirsty due to not sweating all that much. But, believe me, you will get dehydrated just as quickly as if you were playing in the summer! Whether you feel thirsty or not, sip some water here and there.
Now, most of us here already know all of this. It doesn't hurt to say this again, and for the new guys, of course it's going to be trial and error, but if you follow these rules you'll be just fine I promise you!

Do we have someone with first aid training on hand as a precaution?

I took an 18 week first responder course back when I worked security but I really wouldn't call it "training". Basically, I'm going to call you a dumbass for wearing a t-shirt in January, throw a coat over you and then dial 911.

Great 2 Bravo 9.6v 1600's and a Intellect 9.6v 2000mAh to keep warm. I'll keep the others in the car wrapped up, but as for the one in my gun it will be tough. I use G&G R8-L and it has a really tight fit in the crane stock. Any of you know how to deal with this or should I change battery's every game to keep them a tad bit warmer?

Thewolf, keep your gun close to your body to emit your body heat. keep your buttstock in your armpit when not using it. that's what i'd do.

Those hot hans hand warmers and a sock keeps batteries warm...bring extra set of bdus and socks...plenty fluids and stay away from marking ribbons and caution tape...if you assume you will be warm pack more cloths cause if you assume then you don't know...be safe and play with respect and pure common sence

Pretty pumped for this game, Hopefully my Black R8-L gets here before then. Ordered it from Airsplat clear back on the 17th of December. If not I'll have to use my tan one.
