I figured I would go first with a book I read for a class several years ago. Storm of Steel by Ernst Junger,

This has become one of my favorite war books, it's a story of a German soldier in WW1 that was part of the first Storm trooper units to be deployed on the Western front. It's cool to read about the weapons and tactics of trench warfare but what really got me was how grim Junger's descriptions was. It was almost like he enjoyed the war and trench raiding, he might say something like " Ehh my good friend Rudolph got killed today, but we had plenty of beans to eat , it was a good day"

Marine Sniper 93 Confirmed Kills
Carlos Hath****'s memoir of his tour of the bush. Its really in depth and gives you a greater understanding of what its like to live and operate as a lone wolf sniper.
