So I've recently had a problem with my JG M4 S-System where when I fire the gun in semi auto, the gun shoots a bb, but the trigger doesn't reset itself. I can push the trigger forward again, but it doesn't fix anything. The gun works fine on full auto and the trigger doesn't get stuck when I pull it while the battery is out of the gun. I've read through countless forums but none of them have told me how to fix it. Notes: The problem only occurred after I replaced the entire wiring assembly ( www.airsoftmegastore.com/4406-aps-mosfet-wiring-harness-for-front-wired-v2-gearbox-ams-cga-fet01r.aspx ) Also, all of the springs are in tact and where they're supposed to be, so I guess the problem likely has something to do with the cut off switch, I just don't know what to do.

I've had two JG G36's do this to me. The problem with those where no lubrication on the contacts. The contacts would slide together when the trigger was pulled, but not come out and reset. Try lubing those up really good.

Alright thanks, I hope that works. My gearbox is pretty dry right now so I wouldn't doubt that's the problem.

You shouldn't need to lube the contacts, you probably installed the trigger spring incorrectly, happens a lot. If the contact are the problem, spread them apart instead of lubing.

I fixed it by soldering my old trigger mechanism to the new wiring harness, my new firing mechanism wasn't the same as my old one, and the cut off switch wasn't making contact with the part that moves back and forth to complete the circuit
