I've been planning to get a replacement for my CyberGun Famas for a while, and I'm trying decide between a JG M4, JG G36C, or a JG AUG. I'm a fan of bullpup, but I would also like to get a conventional rifle. Maybe some of you could help me decide between these three, or should I just keep the Famas and upgrade it? The Famas seems to be pretty hard to upgrade though, I've been looking for an extra mag for it for about a year, the cheapest I've found is $30. I'm thinking maybe the M4 because of how inexpensive it is to upgrade it, same goes for the G36C. I haven't done much research on the AUG, I'm just a fan of the design, and already having a grip and rail is a plus. On the side, sometime in the future I'm planning on getting the Soft Air FN F2000, but it's out of my budget range, but to anyone who has experience with this gun, is it worth $300+? Should I just save up and not waste money on these plastic AEGs?

I'd upgrade the Cybergun. I don't trust JG for ****. They are a definite beginner brand, and won't compete with some of our airsoft rifles unless it's upgraded.

Honestly, JG isn't that bad, sure, they're not on par performance wise with other brands. But internally they're significantly stronger. Their m4 (the nicer ones) comes with a neohyduim motor, meaning it is extremely strong and effiecient. JG internals (gears, motor, shell, etc.) are some of the strongest on the market, capable of pulling m150's stock if tuned.
So, if you're going to upgrade, I'd by a nice JG M4 that comes the neo motor. It'll be a piece of cake to upgrade. If it's your first time upgrading, don't try the Cybergun. lol The motor armature is slightly off spec meaning you can't just drop in an upgrade motor (I'm pretty sure), the spur gear is a V7 spur (I think), and the cylinder head, tappet plate, and airnozzle are off spec meaning upgrades parts do not fit. Unless it's specifically for the V1.
Overall, the JG M4 is the best option for upgrading.
Keeping stock, well the if you're talking about the G&G FN 2000 it's pretty nice. It's a G&G Proline gun which are some of the best guns stock. I've held and used one, the gearbox is a modified V6, it's ever so slightly of spec from the regular V6. But upgrade parts still fit fine, to my knowledge.

Thanks everyone, I found a G&G M4 Raider for a decent price, so I'll be getting that.
