It's all the elitist stupidity that I usually expect from some of those Ohio groups You'll notice I said "from some of those Ohio groups", I didn't lump you all together. We've had great experiences with many Ohio groups, but OA has a pretty large amount of elitist people on the board.

Ok, now that I'm able to Log in again....
When we talked to Skyler things WERE cleared up, HOWEVER, they are singing MilSim but preaching COD/BF3/TF2 (not that I play those). Granted, Medics and Leadership NEED to be assigned restricting people to options of their loadout is obsurd. They made the point of people at the "BIG" games showing up with a squad of M60 gunners and they just role around laying waste. For one, good for them, secondly this is something that can be worked out at Command level aka assigning positions on scene, but here they are saying I have to Sign up as "X" to play at all. Another point was a team showed up with everyone toting AT systems then "leveled" they objective in 10 minutes that was suppose to take a couple hours. THAT IS A GAME MECHANIC, how is it their fault for thinking "OUT OF THE BOX" when you allowed it. Simply put, AT weapons would only effect on vehicles, it's not like you're gonna use a nerf football to make a dynamic entry on a building (Bonus point to anyone NON-MILITARY that can explain what i just meant by Dynamic Entry). The biggest thing to this, like Cows said, is that feedback was just basically defecated on. Whoever the big shot is at OOTBI apparently knows what is best for everyone, that he knows how the military works and that's why this system will be good for MILSIM. IMO they have turned into Justin Beiber. They are so popular that everyone should agree with them and like them, if not then you are an idiot and have no idea what you are talking about. Like that one douche at Raptor 2 that tried to pull rank after I lit him up because he wouldn't call his hits, OA has left a bad first, second, third, and now fourth impression. Don't know what group they are all from, but every time it has been involved with Sandyville somehow. If this system is enforced at any game I attend then you can "molon labe, mitera malaka"

Seems to me they lifted the system from Medal of Honor. WV Airsoft can't agree on which side of a skirmish to be on, let alone a rule system like this... I could see something like this for specific, hosted games but I'm playing Airsoft not a video game.

It's not that I really mind the system too much (I'd be willing to play a class system, but this needs LOTS of tweaking), it's the fact they've taken a "haters gonna hate" position when it comes to feedback. As I said, with a metric F ton of tweaking this might be workable, but if they won't let us offer feedback, I just say screw 'em.

THANK YOU. & yes there are a lot of elitist on AO..... but as mentioned we kill them first. same thing for a squad of m60 or 249's... now days they dont mean much. its just like playing against all the super polar star rangers..... you listen for them, find them, out maneuver them & then kill them. a real good sniper guy is still way better than any "big gun".

Realistically, the mag and grenade limits are close to what you would carry anyways. 12 mags for a rifleman is a little high for me.
If you want to talk to the guy behind it, its Jonah. He uses it to standardize the games OOBI puts on.
