Remeber, flecktarn.co.uk's prices are listed in GBP, not USD. So if you built something costing 800GBP, it's about 1400 or so USD.
IdZ gear is expensive, and sort of primitive as far as modular mounting systems go. The actual webbing system is entirely incompatible with PALS webbing, which makes it a hassle and everything must be specially for the vest.
If German gear is your thing, I'd suggest finding something Tasmanian Tiger makes, they make a fair amount of gear for the Bundeswehr if memory serves. It may not be in flecktarn, but you can live with that.

I like my flecktarn, lol. And yeah TT makes a bunch of gear in flecktarn for the German Heer and such. I found a civilian IdZ for 150 bucks and it comes with some pouches. I know molle doesn't work on them, but the old style German LKS stuff will fit. I don't think alot of IdZ gear is available to civillians.....But I still think its worth having just as an impressive piece!
