Has anyone seen/tested the new Ignite SOCOM Black Ops M4 and M1911 that Walmart is now carrying? M4 sells for $100, and M1911 for $60. The website has that 'un-finished' look, and a couple of kids have "reviewed" them on Youtube, but no real specs or conclusions. Opinions?

I work for Walmart and I saw them come into my store last week, I was wondering what they were like. I may pick up the 1911 just for fun.

My store sold out of both in like 3 days, someone must like them. I'm trying to keep my eyes out at returns to see if we start getting any back and why.

I picked up the 1911 today. It seems to be running pretty good just plinking around with it. The blow back recoils harder than my kwa. You can get about 4 mags off the co2 cylinder before you start to notice the drop off in power.

Be careful removing the slide release. The tab broke off of mine and I lost it in the grass.

The good thing about Walmart. $7 for a 2 year replacement warranty.

Plus you can return or exchange up to 90 days for whatever reason.
Has anyone looked up if extra mags are out there?

I took mine back. They almost wouldn't even exchange it without the receipt, but I finally found it. The gun looked nice. I wasn't too impressed with the quality of the metal. Blow back blew me away, (It's the first one I've fired). Almost sounded like a .22 or .25. Velocity was marginal at best. Not sure exactly how fast. My chrony only works for full auto bursts. The mag extends below the grip & has this peculiar block attatched; (seen 'em, don't like 'em). Four full mags per 12 gram. After the slide catch broke, I felt like I should put it in a nice storage case and only use it occasionally for show. Not a gun I would take into the field.

I have successfully modified an Ignite Black Ops m4 to be field worthy. My friend had one and I was bored so I shimmed it, put a tight bore barrel in it, did some DIY compression mods to get maximum compression, cleaned the bucking, and shimmed the inner barrel into the outer barrel so it has no wobble room. It is shooting as good as any stock JG m4 if not much better. My friend uses it regularly and it has proven to be quite reliable. Although it was a joke when he first got it. I wouldn't recommend getting one unless you know how to modify it to be effective.

I got the Wolverine pistol the other day (mostly for the laser sight), but I have no clue what gun it's based on, if any. Does anyone know which one it is? I'm planning on attending Operation: Ironwood next month and I need to know whether or not I can use it.
