Green Vs Tan is indeed simple. But I have noticed one problem with it... even when you're at a milsim people just say Green and Tan. I dunno if that bugs anyone else but that kinda ruins the immersion I bit for me. Im with you on the immersion piece. In this particular case, you would need to compromise on the immersion and key in on the event scenario, missions and objectives. This, is where you will get the most out of the immersion. Its a fact that not everyone will like something about the event. But, what we are trying to accomplish in the overall grand scheme, should be met. Each individual person will have a different expectation than the next guy, hence......individual. Bringing them all together on a common field to play, is our goal. Within the goal is the milsim missions and objectives to enhance their visit and hopefully bring them back again. It will be up to those directly involved in facilitating the event to do our very best in meeting most of the expectations and at the end, listen to the feedback to make the next one even better.

In a perfect world I'd love to see green vs tan regulated to throw together games and the actual need for uniform id be utilized in our bigger events. That being said I feel a need to allow for some slack when it comes to alot of the op4 units as in allowing patterns like Alpenflage and tigerstripe etc etc, otherwise you will have an unbalanced roster.
This is kinda from left field, but until we get a player base built up in this state to sustain larger events on our own I'm sure that alot of us core players would not mind lending a hand filling roleplaying positions in your events if there is alot of out of state players interested in making the trip. Several of us have Ruskie, US, Merc, etc that could help form the core of imersion style events.

The thing with green vs tan is.... one team is gonna be sticking out like a sore thumb.
KLMK is a VERY noticeable OP4 camo..... yet it is green and perfect for summer and not much else. Alpenflage is considered green but works PERFECTLY during fall and winter months, what we mainly go for is camo that works for BOTH teams during that time of year.
more easily understandable..... US Marines have both woodland AND desert, common sense would dictate that fighting forces would use what camo worked best in that area at that time.

The various uniforms will be covered and allocated for balance if need be. I thought the "green vs tan" would be a good base to begin with and within the uniform outlines, the establishment of whats green whats tan would be stated, the balance act would probly take place at the field when the true numbers are showing. If the arm band method is what is needed, its certainly in my mind. Remember, this is all preliminary details. If an armband identification program is needed, we can go with that. Keeping in mind, the ultimate goal here is to provide a solid airsoft event/venue to bring in the players to cody's property, extend a good experience to the players and hopefully grow the community by showing them all that there are good fields to visit here in WV. All the input you guys are providing is extremely valuable to what and how this will unfold so thank you all for that and please keep it coming. I look forward to sitting down and disecting and adding to what I have already put to paper.

I fully plan on having the usual Uniform requirements for this field around for games, just not all of them. The ones we had at Raptor worded well, East +civies and solids vs West. I've got some game ideas floating around, but they'll wait until after this one Norris is cooking up. I do plan on havign open plays regularly starting in december or january (probably january, lately You'd need an LCAC to get over there). Then the place should be a bit more built up as well.
