I know you can buy straight pull bolt upgrades for certain military rifles. One guy I know in the military requested one when they first came out. I was wondering if you could buy one for the R700 or R770? If so where? I would love to have one for target shooting.

to put a straight pull bolt on a model 700 or any equivalent is nearly impossible. you would have to modify so many components on the weapon not to mention a way to have the bolt lugs unlock upon opening the breach. manlincher carbines and such have had those actions since before both great wars if im not mistaken browning just it trying to bring back the design.
