On my CIF issue receipt it say in all caps, DO NOT USE. that applies to the goggles and glasses. If you read the paper that comes with the ESS glasses I know it says not to use them as well.

Ricochets. The BBs bounce off something behind (to the side) of you, hit the back of the lens and boom, right in the eye. The eye is the only serious part of the body that can be damaged by airsoft BBs. Personally my sight is worth more than the couple of bucks for the "included" shooting glasses. Buy some full seal, the arent that much.
