Stopped in at what I thought was just a bike and skate shop in Beckley today. I was actually looking at mountain bikes for Nic. When I told the owner I hadn't been there before. He told me He had more than mountain bikes and kayaks. we went up stairs and he had rc cars, paintball and a little airsoft. I was impressed he picked an echo1 to carry when he knew nothing about airsoft. Anyways if you need bbs and you're in that are. He has .2 and .3s and carries the echo1 m4. Also. he has deans connectors for $3.75 a pair. Hopefully I can get him more interested in the sport.
The place is called Elevation and it's on Robert C Byrd drive.

Hopefully interest grows in the area. I know the guy plays paintball. It'd be nice to see airsoft start to take off. That would be a good central area for games.

For us, yes. It's a decent size city. It's also an hour drive from Charleston, Princeton area, lewisburg and Summersville.

"Us", as in the airsofters in the southern part of the state that have to drive 2 to 3 hours to get to and event. "Us", as in any airsofter in the above named areas. Do you realize it will take me two and a half hours to get to Scary Creek? It will take the other Theta guys about the same. It would be nice to grow the sport down here to cut down on the drives. It's not a conspiracy. You can relax. There is no secret society of "us".  |

Drenlan has been around for quite a while and would really like to see airsoft in the southern part of WV since he lives on the border. I am actually not the only theta member from WV. I have mentioned them numerous times. It's not only in Drenlan's sig. It's in mine... Yes, I did say it was an hour from Charleston. If you look at a map. You can see what I am saying. You don't fall off the earth if you go east or south of Charleston. |

It takes me about 2 hours to get to the south eastern part of Charleston and about an hour to get to the south eastern part of Beckley. |

I actually live about 18 miles north of Lewisburg on 219. I'm about an hour south of Snow Shoe.
