My name is Nick Meadows and I've been playing airsoft with my friends in backyards for a few years now. I am glad to finally find a group of dedicated airsofters to join and play some larger games with. My usual rifle for any game is my Socom Gear Barrett M107, but i also switch between that and a King Arms L1A1 SLR. I hope to have fun and meet some new people playing airsoft. BTW, my username isn't accidentally misspelled.

How do you like the Barret? Whats your range/fps on that thing? Welcome to the site.

Personally, i love my Barrett. It shoots around 410 fps out of the box, but my spring is much weaker through improper storage, so around 300 fps with .28g bbs for mine. Disassembly is about as simple as i've ever seen on an airsoft gun and it comes stock with a madbull tight bore inner barrel which helps a lot with accuracy over range even with the weak spring. The body is solid, but weighs around 35lbs. Dimensions stay true to the original, making this the largest gun in my collection. I have ordered a shortened navy-style barrel for it which should cut down weight and size considerably. Honestly, when you look into it the Barrett is really an upgraded m4 in a large steel shell.

I would suggest building into a serious DMR. Get a 6.01 tbb, M140-150 spring, torque motor/gears, then it would be a monster.

I would love to, but i'm a bit short on cash right now. This is definitely something i will be working on in the future.
