so ive detemrnined the major factor in the inaccuracy of my rifle. the hop up has way too much play in ti. its providing uneven pressure to the bb and causing it to spin to the left at about 150 ft. could anyone tell me how to adress this problem at least until i order a pdi or something along those lines.

If it's spinning to the left, it's more likely that you're holding the rifle ****eyed or that your barrel is slightly twisted to one side, providing a biased point on the BB. Take apart the hopup chamber and check it.

I took the bolt out and i can physically see the hop-up leaning to the left. It also shoots consistantly to the left if I counter it either direction. At such high FPS even the slightest imbalance in the hop-up nub is creating an off spin but I tested different variables and still produce the same effect.
The barrel could possibly be twisted, how would I remedy this ?

so even though the hopup is physically leaning i should rule that out completely as the cause of my pain

Ok with no hopup it shoots straight that sounds more like hopup than barrel. But I'm not a tech

ya i can see it leaning and at 550fps its gotta be putting a counter spin so the question is can it be shimmed? 2nd question will it blend? lol

With blend tec, anything will blend . It sounds like the issue may be with your nub or perhaps even your bucking. Have you tried to remove the bucking and re-seat it to see if that solves the issue?

It sounds like the bucking is either off center or deformed. Make sure that the barrel grove is lined up with the center of the hop up. It could be deformed from the nub (thing that pushes on the bucking) being misaligned. I would suggest a Madbull bucking with an H nub, should correct your problem.

well i tried a few things and still no avail the gun came with the uprgraded spring and all so its shooting 550 fps and .30s may be too light. but lately the gun has become terribly eratic. removing the orange tip is the only way i can get decent groupings and i have to aim two feet to the right to hit a person at 150 ft. is that normal or should my bb travel straight till it drops? the hop up only seems to make the gun more eratic which is frusterating to say the least. the guns hasnt been lubricated yet but im not sure how much that will even do. hopefully someone at the game sunday will pick it up spit on the ground n say "well heres ur problem, your continuim transfunctoner was set to stun!" lol
