Home of Record: St Albans WV, and I just moved home last Feb 2010
Been airsofting since about 2002-2003ish, have started several teams and settled in on the MEU as the Platoon Commander. Developed the MEU into a MilSim element that has become one of the most recognized in the Chicago Airsofting community. Most its members are of military origin and the majority being Marines mixed with several Army as well as a handful of civilians. All of which operate with complete military bearing and discipline. The MEU is known for its ability and drive to accomplish the given mission. You can check out our web page at
www.29thMEU.com . Several photo albums on the sight to view if you want.
Since moving home, I have not been able to make it out to any of the local events, but definately want to so I can make some contacts locally.
I know the Chcago events so I will be posting periodically to see if any of you guys are willing and able to make the road trip out to some really good mission oriented and well thought out scenarios. You wouldnt be sorry if you went to any of them, trust me.
My equipment is as follows: G&P CQB M4, CA M15 Battle Rifle, Systema M4/M203, Systema M4, Systema Battle Rifle, Inokatsu M60E4, TH M240B, 1911 GBB Warrior, 1911 GBB, KWA PTP M9, KWA G17, Deep Fire LAW, CA M4, Claymore, Several grenades, multiple comm units to accomadate a good squad, PRC25, PRC68, 1971 AM General Deuce and a half, 18x36 OD MGPTS. I know Im probly leaving a few things out in the way of weapon systems.
Uniforms in inventory: traditional M65 woodland, 3 color DCU, MARPAT woodland, MARPAT desert, VN tiger Stripe.
Primary Loadout: CIRAS plate carrier. Also maintain a molle, LBV, ELBV as well ALICE loadouts.
Preferred style of outing is MILSIM, complete with maps, missions and objectives as well as command and communication.
Airsoft Field Occupation for Battlefield Simulation: Command Element, Forward Field Command, Strategic/tactical planning and execution.
My favorite situation is when Im out numbered. There's nothing like having the odds stacked against you in the field.
I know I put in a lot of stuff here, but just wanted to get my self out there with some background. If its too much, then I ask that admin alert me to tone it down if needed. Thanks guys.........
