Hey, I just uncovered an old Vector Arms AK74M that i'm sure used to be Gunit's. I attached a charged battery and pulled the trigger. It feels like the motor gets the power, but, isn't activating. Has anyone ever had this problem? I can only assume the motor is totally dead. Fuse is in tact.
I'd love to take this apart and look into it, but i figured i would ask on here and start some conversation regarding how these girls should be treated and where i should look.

Have you tried the battery in another gun? Alos, the gearbox could be locked up.

Might just be the piston is in the back possion and have the spring locked back. If so it ain't that back to fix.

Yes, i tried the battery in two other guns and it fired. It is definitely the correct type and it's identical to my APS AKS74.
If that piston is in the back position, it's been there for about 3 years! LOL
