So you want to start a German loadout?
I am going to start out with some simple gear/cammy's to make yourself have that modern German look. Panzer Vor!

1. The basics
We will start with the basic German issued BDU. German Flecktarn. The German military issues 3 different BDU patterns:
1. Woodland Flecktarn
This is the most commonly seen/used Flecktarn. You can pick up a surplus jacket from ASMC.de for around 2$. The pants, around 8-10$.
2. Desert Flecktarn
Desert Flecktarn is being used now by the German Bundeswehr in Afghanistan and Iraq. It is about the same price at ASMC.de
3. Wuestentarn
Wuestentarn has a slightly lighter tan to it, and has no green. It is the "tropical" version of it's desert brother. This can also be picked up from ASMC.de.

Now then, now that we have our essentials, We will start with gear/equiptment.
In the early 1990's, after Flecktarn was accepted by the Bundeswehr, the German Military started issuing troops a new type of gear. The German "LKS". LKS is pretty much the German take on American ALICE gear. It is incredibly cheap, and very reliable.
Although Cheap, it is very uncomfortable. And is very heavy when loaded down. (German troops carried two canteens, a shovel, two large utility pouches, 6 magazines, their service pistol, and a flare gun) So, things get pretty heavy. It is however, very versatile and you can move very freely in the web gear.
LKS is more of an option for a player choosing an early 90's German loadout. Complete this with an H&K G3 assault rilfe, and a Helmet or field cap, and your loadout is complete!
For a more modern loadout, considering a plate carrier would be of great interest. Modern German soldiers use MOLLE plate carriers, and H&K G36 variants. The German military DOES NOT use G36C assault rifles.

Here are some optional accessories:
German B826 Gefechtshelm Kevlar helmet w/ Flecktarn cover.
Flecktarn field cap.
Basic issue German Flecktarn 65L rucksack.

These are the basics to building a German loadout. Feel free to message or comment any questions you may have. Thanks!
