Holy Crap! What an event, running with Norris and the wrecking crew of the 29th MEU was bad ass! We were jolly green giants walking the earth with bb guns, my new M4 was greased with the tears of children this weekend!
I don't even know where to begin, from our cross dressing nurse who knife killed 11 people in the enemies HQ including the commander, to the recon mission that ended with a full frontal assault of the enemies HQ where we took prisoners including their XO- then extracted them clear across the field unscathed, to the defense of the crypt that ended with an epic charge through a wall of smoke with the enemyfleeing from the entire section of the field, to being attacked (unsuccessfully) by a robot...yes I said a robot, to being chased by armor, chasing down armor with AT-4's, storming bases..good god where do I even begin?
Norris left with a new trophy for his wall, an award for us winning the most valuable team on the US side. I by default, helped a guy win the best death award when he caught an AT-4 rocket I fired smack in the chest...giggity. I also walked away with a 3 day assault pack in the raffle and another 29th member won a bad ass GBB pistol.
It's going to take a week or two to compile all the photo's and vids from other team members cameras and from the event staff so keep an eye out. I'll start posting the pics I took over the next few days.
I want to thank Norris and the 29th MEU for a great time and I'm in for sure next year!
