Latest additions are a new KWA LM4 GBBR and, thanks to alexyoung and his dad Frank, a (new to me) umarex HK416! Both are pretty nice pieces. Can't wait to get the GBBR into a good fight. The only draw back is that the mags are only 40rnd. Going up against someone with a 350rnd winding mag will be fun!
The 416 came with a small nun chuck 1600mah battery. I found that my G&p crane stock 2200mah battery fits into the stock nicely and with that I fabricated a battery connector to accommodate the deans plug battery to the small tamiya gun connection! Everything works perfectly with this so now I have multiple batteries for the 416!

Oh no! I pulled you into GBB hell, I'm sorry dude. I just ordered more stuff for the MP7, they're too fun. It's the most fun thing to fire that I own, the noise, the kick, the hilarious compact size... I'll have to fire that KWA next time you make it to a game, I was looking at them and thought they seemed interesting. I'm enjoying the GBB fun now.

Looking into a gas blow back AK.....
Something about realistic weight, loud noise, 30rnd mags, some actual recoil, and me just being a BAMF seems very appealing.

I dig the GBB's but for the high cost per mag I couldn't justify only having 30 or 40 rounds. If everyone played with actual round count weapns it would be cool, but like Norris said going up against mid and high caps isn't cool. I have 20 Star AK 30 rounders that sit in box in storage because I was packing more gear then everyone and still being outgunned by everyone. I do however plan to pick up a KWA M4 AEG and a KWA M9 ptp( yes Cows, its because of yours  ;D) within the next couple months. |

The M9 PTP, a ridiculous pistol with not too much cost attached. I've enjoyed mine, even if it doesn't get used much.
I've been looking at the MP9s KWA makes, but Doug is all but assured that I'll be buying the Kriss when it comes out. I hate to say it, but he may be right, the thing is ugly in such an odd way... The two round burst is also interesting.

Got the FedEx tracking number for the rest of my gas mags for the KWA m4 and the G&G femme fatal m4! Last piece will be my BHI ISSAKM60 gunner load out!

It's funny when most people talk about "milsim" and hit the field with a 350rnd wind up mag plus 13 more in their load out! I too, wish everyone would run the 20-30, no more then 50, round mags. Hell, even if they only stuffed that qty into the wind up mags, that would make for a "more realistic" environment and better challenge when it came to engaging the opfor. But........I'm sure most don't even think about that **** so, onward we go............ My PTW mags are 120 rounders and I do max them every time . I only emptied all 16 mags in a single engagement once. Pinned down and takin it on all sides........I died with maybe a half a mag left! Ramble ramble blah blah blah........ |

My G36 mags and my M4 mags are all 70 rounds. Now as for my AK-74.....450 rounds lol.

My AK mags are 100 rounders, MP7 mags are 48, SVD mags are 90... I agree with you, Norris, I wish we could stop people from hitting the field with 10 hicaps with ridiculous round counts, I know that mags CAN be expensive (I state CAN be, because with options like King Arms and Mag brand magazines, you can get full combat loads for ass cheap), and that gear to carry them can be daunting, but it'd make it far more fun for some people.
I understand why wanting to use the more interesting weapons when everyone is running high ammo counts in single mags is difficult. Irritating because it somewhat does limit what people can use and still be effective in combat during games. We used to have a rule that people could only carry 2 hicaps, but could carry as many midcaps as they wanted. It was an attempt to stop people from putting box mags on EVERYTHING, and encourage people to get midcaps.
Wish we'd keep that and enforce it, I liked that rule.
