Anyone interested in getting this up for this month ? I had a few guys from our facebook group interested. This is what someone posted tonight, "THis is huge guys!!!! theres a paintball field up in St. Albans west virginia and they say that if we show up and reserve the field for a day, we have to have 10 people or more! its a full urban field with houses and cars and everything!!~ each person would pay $12 entry fee, bring own bb's. the only thing is you have to have fulll face protection, but you can rent a face mask for 5$  and rent a locker to keep your stuff in for a few bucks and you get that money back at the end of the day! everybody should let me know what you all think of this idea !" I told him about how you guys had one a month or so back and it turned out pretty well, if anyone is interested lets get this thing up and running again. We have 46 members on our open airsoft group on FB and i'm sure with you guys included we could get 20 people for this easy. |

I'm sure you can get the people to show. You should call and reserve it. We did a Sunday last time and they opened up at 10am for us so we had the field for3 hours before the paintballers showed up. But get the date and post it up in the games thread.

We want to play here at the least, two times a month to show that we have the numbers to make them money and be more willing to open their doors for us on weekends. Is a weekday a possibility for anyone and if so what would be a preferable day, I was thinking a Thursday or Friday ? We can try to talk them into another Sunday game but it is unsure as of the moment yet weekday games are a for sure go with 20 or more people.

sundays are about the only day i can do anything. weekdays i work 3-3

Well we can play either Monday, Tuesday or Friday 10am-4pm or he said we can set games for 5pm-9pm. He said weekends are not something he wants to do because he is overcrowded with paintballers. My guess is we are out of luck.

ive pretty well stayed out of this since the first time everyone talked to him....
yeah he's "so over ran with painballers"..... how many were there? 4? 6?
his attitude sucked a **** & then the "switch" he pulled by making people use HIS masks that are not even safe or rated for airsoft impact?
he didnt care about "your" safety or anyone else's. that was purely about squeezing a nickel out of someone.
we all were warned prior that he pulled this type of stuff by guys who used to play there... sure enough he did.
that's enough to make me say he'll never EVER get a penny from me or Demon Dave.
we'll have to play with you guys at other locations.

@sdk - I agree, he is so uninterested in us that it isn't even worth the phone call.
jlanham, anytime you have a game post it and I am sure people will come, I know I can get a group with no issue since we live in the Huntington area.
We are going to try to go back out to Durban, KY tomorrow and see what we can find out there. I really do wish we had a CQB field for us to casually hit up on the weekends but it doesn't seem like that will be possible for a long time to come or ever at this rate, I am however excited to see what happens in the fall. I have a feeling more games will open up do to lower tempatures.

lots of guys complain about the winter games being battery killers and cold toes....
hell i prefer them. LIPO"s dont get cold and ive got clothes. lots of games to play this fall/winter. you just got to let us know your interested. :-)

I don't mind the cold at all. I work in it 8 hours a day during the winter. I'm ready to go!
