I'm looking to put together a green based team for Operation Blind Fury in August. for anyone who hasnt been to or heard of this event. it is the largest airsoft event ever held in the state of Ohio. Ive been the last two years and it is a very good event. I plan on taking my Suzuki Samuria this year and turning it into a gun truck. I'd like to see a team of about 8 to 10 of us. 3 man crew for the gun truck and 7 or so of us for the light infantry squad backing the truck.. I promise you will not be dissapointed with this Op.

My Suggestion is to sit back and see what the grizzled ancients come up with.

Solid tan bottoms, black tops and minimal gear. No plate rigs, RRV's are about as heavy as you can go. Basically no High Speed/Low Drag set-ups, those are for the sissy Military Contractors .

From what Blade had told me the difference between the Mercs and the PMC forces is that the PMC forces are what you would expect from a "professional" outfit with tons of money and backing whereas the Mercs were a bit gritter and more third world.

I was sad that I missed the last one, it broke a four year streak. I haven't even gave this event a thought yet for this year, I did however read alot of bad things that happened at last years event. It appears that more noobs and 15 year old springer ninjas are signing up then vet players. I'm hoping Blade fields some refs for this one.

It wasn't even that. There were plenty of drama queens and people there for the fashion show. I'm sorry, if you don't wear boots i can't take you seriously with you 300 dollars worth of gear.

I have my custom ayya made Tabi.. They are what I rapier fight in, train taijutsu in at the dojo, wear rigging as a stagehand, and I've even worn them working security details provided more formal clothing was not required.. Folks poke fun at 'em on occasion.. but they are as comfortable as any Mocc I ever wore (even my elkhide Apache made ones.. which are my best.) and as durable as any commercial shoe or boot I've worn.
