Well, kill rags aren't a big deal. But, the under 18 stuff is a big one. Glasses are risky as it is. When you throw minors and parents in there it gets worse.

lol well we have a 14yr old that plays with us, but as long as they wear airsoft glasses/airsoft goggles they can play, im not worried about the parents, the parents know the risk if they let their kid wear just glasses thats up to them not me, we arnt on private land or anything its government owned

Hey I play to have fun too, but its not an excuse not to be safe. Full seal goggles are safer than shooting glasses, fact. The eye is the only part of the body that can be seriously damaged without the chance of repair, fact. The way to treated my advice tells me that your "events" are not something I would want to go to or take part in. Also, just because its on Govt land doesnt mean parents will not sue YOU!
So next time someone give you advice, especially someone who hosts awesome, safe events, just say "Thanks for the tip." Then you can keep the "I dont care" attitude to yourself.
I am writing this not to be mean to you, but to try to show that your actions reflect on the community. Lets say that one of your friends loses an eye to airsoft and your the one who shot at him, missed, but a BB hit a tree and ricochet back to hit the back of his shooting glasses and hit the eye. How would you feel about that? Would they still be your friend? Do you honestly think his parents wouldnt sue you? Then there is the whole can of worms where this would come out in the media and reflect very badly on the community.
If you guys want to play in your backyard thats one thing, but the Mods of the forum and most of us serious players want to move forward with legal fields, accountability, and a community that works to improve the sport. Again, I am not trying to belittle you, make fun of you, or anything like that. I am trying to get you to think above the group of you and your friends and think about how your actions could impact the rest of the airsoft community.

noone i know is gonna sue anyone, you play at your risk of knowing that can happen, if airsoft glasses wasnt safe they wouldnt make them, sue the company that makes them if u wanna sue someone, noone can belittle or make fun of me bc i dont care what anyone thinks about me lol, im not here to impress anyone, we arnt gonna be making a legal feild or anything like that, we have fun with the people we do play with, you can come play or not, its not gonna hurt anyones feelings

Airsoft guns, contrary to popular belief, are not made to be shot at people. Says so on the box and the manual. You're shooting glasses are made to protect against accidents. So technically you are using them incorrectly, which is how I believe any company that manufactures them would see it. I used to use shooting glasses. until i got a pair physically shot off my face.

idk ive been using my (safety)glasses for awhile taken some hits right on them i have to say they work wonders and for some people goggles are pretty pricey 60 bucks for a pair that actually are good and look cool too. i mean thats pretty crazy and motorcross ones have that foam that falls off and rots so they are not worth the 30 bucks or more

This has been debated quite a bit over the years. While I'm not going to bag on anybody over 18 not using goggles. I do think minors really should. It is about having fun. Ya gotta be safe though. I've had bbs get past shooting glasses. I've also seen what an eye looks like when you get shot in the eye by an airsoft gun (It's not pretty, lots of blood). The biggest reason these guys are getting on you is they don't want to see you or anybody else hurt. It's something you really should think about. It's good advice from people that have bben around for a while and people that want to see you around for a while(and you to "see" them. ). A decent pair of eyepro runs about 25 bucks.

You can get ESS goggles for 10. Pull the foam out and they don't fog. And they don't have face foam, just rubber.

the 14 year old that dangle was talking about has a pair of good goggles and glasses and he switches back and forth, its just personal preference, his dad approves of either, ill eventually get goggles when i get the money, but if you show up to play with just glasses we arnt gonna say ur not allowed to play bc of that, dangle has a pair of the revision goggles that he runs with, we both get what you all are saying its safer so noone gets hurt, we dont really have to worry about kids playing with us just that 1

Spectre did hit on some good priced goggles that are top notch. I think I paid 20 for mine though. Surplus ESS goggles can be bought cheap.
And they are pretty comfy.
