ATTENTION! This park requires all firearms to be in a case. So while in the parking lot and outside of the wooded area before walking into game zone please try and case your gun. I am working the kinks in trying to make a game at Virginia Point (direction to be added) on Sunday, May 8th. If anyone is interested give me a heads up. I have roughly 10-15 players locally interested in playing and game types will possibly include some of the follow: *Bridge Building (an engineer mission) *Down Pilot*Hostage Rescue*Rescue Captive (hostage alternative) *Team Death Match*Capture The FlagTeams will be divided by color depending on uniform. This makes it easier to spot your team from the enemy and reduce the amount of friendly fire. Green Team: Woodland, Marpat, Cadpat, Brown, Tigerstripe (Subdued or Vietnam), and OD. Yellow Team: DCU (3 and 6 colors), Despat, Arid Cadpat, Tan, Desert DPM, Desert Tiger, ACU, Multicam, and ABU. Street clothing allowed for those without tactical gear.I scouted the land out Saturday and plan to go back a few more times to take pictures and review the park activity on sundays. I will continue to post more details here until the game is set in stone. Any thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated. Attachments:

i dont like this field. its WAY to public. to many people running around to see us running around with guns and to get in the play area.

Well the park is a POS and is mainly used on Saturdays for childrens soccer games. The amount of land usable inside the circled brush seemed really great besides the crap washed up from the rain but its not anything new.
I plan to scout some areas in the Beech Fork area (highly unlikely) but it might be a long shot. Most of the land around here is private, leveled or you have to be a rock climber to get to it. I'm just trying to find another area of play and there is also an old building at the site used for the Fire Dept. training which was onced used for paintball games as well so that is always a possibility.

That would be awesome but I don't know how to go about getting permission, but it seems to be an old oild refinery or something thats off the main highway on private roads and away from the public. I would be all over that if we could legally do it.

Do you remember what the plant used to be called ? Do some research get a number and give em a call, see what happens and hope for the best.
Either way I want to get a good game setup close to this area and so far VP is the only viable area, when you get the chance take a drive down their and walk through the wooded area to get an idea of the field. People used to play paintball in it but rarley anymore since PB is kind of dead. The foliage is thick and it is pretty spacious, gives a vietnam vibe I suppose if you are looking for comparision.

get the address to the properties and to to the county court office and see the clerk that handles the taxes. they should be able to tell you who pays the taxes on any building or lot of land in that county.

Yea, everywhere around here is great for small skirmishes up to 20 people, you might get away with 30 but anything over that is not going to work. We also might have a place for a game on Rt. 75 if the guy allows it (decent possibility). We used to use it as an ATV run and Paintball skirmishes. The yellow line is a railroad track. Attachments:

Ya I have a few areas and one really good one but parking is an issue. This is the area I have to play on anytime I want behind my parents house and my childhood neighborhood. It's a good bit of land and extremely fun terrian, although climbing the hill to get to the top might wear you out but its worth it in my opinion. I just have no idea what to do for parking. @lurk - I'm sure Nick has said something about it. Attachments:
