As for the 350 FPS limit honestly going above that will turn off A LOT of players. The Raiders (before I was a member) had this issue briefly at the old school house with FPS limits being pretty high. Besides that, a higher FPS is little more than a marketing ploy. Old Spice, one of our members has a UTG M14 that shoots no higher than 290 and still outdistances and out performs most other guns on the field.

A lower FPS will reduce wear on your gear box and actually EXTEND the life your gun. That doesn't mean shooting 400 will crack the box next week or anything but less stress = longer life.

i can attest first hand to "old Spice" pinpointing me in the top of the head from a VERY long distance with his m14... LMAO

it hurt like it was under 300. but i was still "dead".

350 is still a good medium for overall use.
