I second the 350 limit as most CQB fields use this. Also, semi auto only when you are clearing a room/bus/etc. This way even at close range, you are looking at 1-3 shots instead of 20.

It was made into a Training Facility shortly after its Decommission. Its a pretty impressive layout. I wasn't aware they'd gone ahead and okayed the public access, but it's been awhile back since i heard it was a possibility. I would definately be interested in getting in on that game!
I also reccomend 350 personally. I know that SCA up in Pitt also requires face & ear protection and full seal rated eye pro, due to the range considerations in engagement.. The rules they use in their CQB establishment seem pretty sensible imho.

I dont think they have allowed public access. But I know like 20 cops, one who flies and knows the Gov. on first name bases. And a friend of mine works at the Tunnel. Soo I am very well connected. And if the tunnel is not allowed for some reason I can get the State training compound probably. But I dont think they will say no with the Tunnel.

Is this in Kanawha county ? Most of these places I have never been around but I would totally be willing to pay for this. I will have to chrono my sidearm (probably the only weapon I could use) but I am down for it. My vote is in and I have one maybe two other guys that would be good to go.
Date/Time and area description would be helpful. Like I said have not been to these places but I checked the wiki out and sounds like a blast.

Skeleton when in the summer are you looking to put this together? I know there is a lot going on in June for the Raiders and Athens Airsoft with our post apocalyptic event but if you held an event here in Julyish the turnout could be truly and I mean TRULY epic. A couple suggestions from an event organizers perspective: In a field that compact, even with some open spaces Rig is right, it will be primarily CQB and you really want to keep your FPS at 350 and lower. Semi auto only in buildings is not the worst idea in the world as well as full auto bursts that close blow . With a field like this, a story line and objectives will take you a long way. It doesn't have to be overly complex but if I read right it has multi-level simulated WMD facilities?!?!?!?!?!?! Epic win. Thirdly if you are going to have this as more than a one off event man organization organization organization. One of the reason the Raiders are able to keep our events populated with 50 + players a pop is because we organize and people seem to like that a lot. That being said, I hope I did not come off as condescending as that is not my intent . Depending on when you host it, Athens Airsoft would be happy to supply tech support and merchandise for game day. In addition we may be able to work out a deal for those who want spring swap with a package discount on the spring and labor. I hope that you make this a reality Skeleton as it truly does sound like an amazing venture.

I am truly trying my best to get this in motion. Right now I am working on sending a E-Mail to the head person at the Tunnel and seeing if we can get it. I am also working on a shirt design because I don't want to just make one right at the end. Freebies help bring people in. I am planning on having to shirt designs, one as freebie and one for like $4-5 extra with your call name on the back. Pictures will be posted soonish

There are close areas, but there are also big areas. I am just thinking that saying 300 FPS max will make people not go. 350 sounds better cause they could use bigger bullets for it lots of people have guns in the 350 range... but if you drop to the 300 or less range? drop me, Demon & Snakey back out, its pretty much a Tokyo Marui fest or just a pistol competition at that point.
