I am trying to plan a major game in the Turnpike Memorial Tunnel. It will be at least all day 9 am to 8 pm. You can leave and come when you want, as long as you have your ticket. Your ticket will let you get one free shirt saying you played here and food. It will be happening during the summer if I get enough people to say, Hey try to get the tunnel! You will have to sign a weaver, but we will have medical help there. Ammo will not be supplied. I am trying to get Army Reserve Recruiters to be there so they can transport people from the lower parking lot to the tunnel. I also plan on trying to get Athens Airsoft or another Airsoft store here to go and be able to repair guns if broke (lets hope it doesnt happen) and sell guns to new players.
If it happens it will surely help get west virginia on the map when it comes to airsoft. So make your vote, should I start planning it all or not?
P.S. I know many Police Officers and a worker at the Tunnel. It will be easier for me to get it. And if you dont want to do the Tunnel I could try for the State Police training Building I know they used to have
Rules: 350 Fps limit. Face protection, at least eye protection, must be worn at all times playing

All right. You have my attention. Exactly how do you get access to this and what is the layout like? And.. Are you serious about this?

Yes, 100% Serious. It was a hole open on one end. It is used as a Counter Terrorism training course now. It has rubble area, a subway area, a normal tunnel car area with bus, semi, and normal cars. For me to get this place it might be a slight challenge. But if we get it going and I have at least 20-30 people saying I will be there it should be easy. I know a bunch of cops and military and someone who works there. It is 2,000+ feet en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memorial_Tunnel

I feel confident you can scare up that many people if the date and time of year are right. One thing you might want to think about. FPS limits.

Probably normal rules. Under 400 FPS for AEGs, 500 for spring sniper with 50 foot kill or so. Red flag for kills, it would probably be like in the game battlefield bad company gold rush. Take a point then move up to next base till you hit end or all attackers die.

Ok on an indoor field, 50 feet is a long ways. I would say 300 Fps but that's just my thoughts.

I was thinking atleast 350. You don't understand. Most of the fighting will be close up. I haven't seen the layout. But, The structures described seem to tell me it will mostly CQB. I'm not sure snipers will be an option. I've played in town settings. When it goes house to house and room to room there are a lot of close shots.

There are close areas, but there are also big areas. I am just thinking that saying 300 FPS max will make people not go. 350 sounds better cause they could use bigger bullets for it

Using heavier bbs to get lower fps defeats the purpose. Your first thought needs to be safety. People won't come if the fps limits are too high also. People that have been around a lot of organized events understand how crazy it gets with limited room. I'm behind you 100% on this. I just don't want to see anybody get hurt and it hang on you. It's your game I'm just trying to get you some things to think about.

True, how hard is it to lower fps on guns?

Usually a spring swap is the easiest way. Besides having a cqb gun.You have to know how to work on guns though. You'd be surprise though, a lot of guns are already running in the 300 to 350 range.

No it wouldn't. I know that there are a lot of new people with limited guns and funds. But, you still have to make sure everyone has a safe and fun time. With the higher fps limits, MEDs and protection have to be strict. From my experience, when you get in close areas meds sometimes go out the window. I would a the very least get rid of anything over 400 and require face protection. 350 would be ideal for all guns and 18 and under have face protection.
