This is a suggested list of rules that most people are used to playing under, feel free to use this list at your event if you need a pre made rules list.
These restrictions are based on the actual velocity without regard to the weapon being represented.
Standard Velocity Limits
CQB Limits
All weapons permitted for CQB use (indoors) MUST fire less than 300 fps with a .25g bb.
There is no Minimum Engagement Distance with CQB rated weapons.
This restriction applies to AEGs as well as all pistols.
Field Limits
300 to 400fps - 15ft Minimum Engagement Distance
400 to 450fps - 50ft Minimum Engagement Distance
450 to 500fps - 75ft Minimum Engagement Distance; Semi-Auto ONLY
500 to 550fps - 100ft Minimum Engagement Distance; Bolt Action ONLY
Over 550fps - Prohibited
Velocity Restrictions
Only players that are over 18 years of age will be permitted to use any weapon that fires at velocities higher than 400fps.
Minimum Engagement Distances will be strictly observed and enforced.
Bang rule is in effect. If you are to close and have the drop on someone just say bang you’re dead and if you’re the guy that has just been banged then take it and call out dead and use your kill rag.
Eye Pro
ANSI z87.1 rated eye pro. Full seal if under 18.
NO Blind firing.
NO Drugs or Alcohol.
NO Pyrotechnics.
NO Live firearms on the field
You must have a kill rag and use it when you are dead. a kill rag is a red rag you can drape over your head once you are killed so everyone knows your dead.
Grenade and other area effect weapons
Hand Grenades, rockets, mortars, booby traps, scatchel charges, and mines (except claymore mines, see later) are defined as area effect weapons.
Area Effect Weapons kill all players within a 15 foot radius of their triggering, regardless which side activated them.
The player at the center of the blast radius calls out all other players, regardless their side.
Only hard cover protects you from an area effect weapon. Hard cover includes a stonewall, a bunker, a building wall or similarly completely obscuring terrain. Trees, bushes, shallow ditches, and other players are NOT hard cover.
Hand Grenades blast radius is determined from the point of rest. Hand Grenade BBs DO NOT have to strike a player to count as a kill.
Rocket blast and mortar rounds radius is determined from the point at which it strikes.
If a rocket or mortar destroys a vehicle, the vehicle is considered the blast radius center.
If a mortar, rocket, or scatchel charge hit a bunker or are placed against the wall. Everything inside the room of the bunker are killed and a 15 foot radius on the outside are killed.
Airsoft Claymore Mines are classified directional weapons (NOT area effect), and their BBs must strike the target to count.
These restrictions are based on the actual velocity without regard to the weapon being represented.
